Herbicide Applicators and Applicator Trainees

Blueweed Services is a family-owned and operated company in need of summer students willing to learn the skill of applying weed control products to industrial sites.  This skill can open the door to a good summer job for years to come.

 

We require responsible self-starters, able to handle yourself well with a minimum of supervision once trained.  Friendly attitude an asset.  Willing to work long hours when the weather is good.  Being able to operate a standard transmission is an advantage, as not all trucks are automatics.  Average work week is 50 to 60 hours.

 

Positions are currently available spraying weeds on industrial sites in the Edmonton area, with some work out of town.  When working out of town, motels plus an additional meal allowance ($48/day) are paid.  As work load may decline in August, people with summer courses, placements or wanting time off are welcome to apply.
